Our passion to support local farmers for crop quality and productivity improvement dates back for some 50 years. Our operation started as a small family run business with our main effort concentrated in Dum- nern- sa- doak, the then agricultural rich area about 120 km west of Bangkok. It was in this well known riverine area where we worked with local farmers providing supplies of farm inputs such as fertilizers, pesticides and spray equipment to meet their basic requirements.

Recognizing the significance of agriculture to the country and the enormous business opportunity in this highly important farming sector we remain focused and steadfast in our operation. In a responsible way our commitment to Thailand farming communities has remained consistent through the years.

With excellent support from suppliers, our suppliers and keen efforts from our agronomist team we were very proud of the excellent response from the markets for the supply of our high quality products and the services we rendered. Gradually our business has expanded quite satisfactorily. We became firmly convinced our business engagement in the farming sector was a step in the right direction with a good opportunity awaiting in the longer term.

With business continuing to prosper and our business team growing fast and our distribution network widely expanding The Erawan Agricultural Chemicals Co Ltd was established and become operational in 1985. We now operate from a conveniently located head office in Bangkok. Our products are formulated/repacked at our small but efficiently run formulation plant in Nakorn Pathom, a province some 60 km west of the capital city.

In 25 years or so our business operation has grown from a small single market area to an extensive network with the number of distributors in excess of 550 nationwide. To improve our market service and distribution further, three daughter companies have been established for the purpose. The approach has proven to be highly successful and the Erawan Group has now become now an outstanding player in the highly competitive agrochemicals business in Thailand.
